Trusty Junkie formed in the summer of 2008. Playing many clubs and youth auditoriums around Australia, they have had a very impressively busy 2008/2009 season. With Patrick Drive on vocals & drums joined by Al Gian on bass, Ken Slager-keyboards & Tony Giancaspro on guitar. This Quartet really has something. An independent rock act, marrying the excitement of rock music to the traditional pop virtues of crafted songs and strong melodies. They have always had the happy knack of minting brand new rock songs that instantly sound like well-loved classics. The instinctive union among these four musicians, immediately evident during their electrifying live shows, is a reminder of what can be achieved when musicians never lose sight of the fact that the song is the most important thing.
